A Little Happy Birthday Shout-out to Author
Jane Yolen is one of my most favorite authors, one who's writing surprises, delights, and thoroughly absorbs me--heart and soul. She can do it all, from wonderful picture books, to short stories, to my hearts delight, junior fiction.
AND . . . fortuitously, I happened upon a quote attributed to Jane Yolen just last night, and I have to say, as a children's librarian I'm dying to find a way to use this in the library!
